2102. Enoch COFFIN²³ was born in 1678. He died in 1761. He was a Judge, Land speculator. b. 1678; blacksmith. He m. BEULAH EDDY abt. 1701, dau. of John and Hepzibah (Daggett) Eddy who was b. abt. 1680. He was a great land owner and speculator in real estate on mortgage and the records show 170 transactions in his name as grantor or grantee. He was Judge of the Court of Common Pleas 1715; Representative to the General Court 1721, 1733, 1735, besides holding important town offices. He d. 1761.
